Part of the preventive maintenance include:

• Check level and alignment  of mainframe and backgauge with laser
• Inspection of belts for proper tension
• Check and lubricate bearings 
• Check squaring fence for proper aliment 
• Check arbor for tailing, run out, and vertical square 

 Some older models that use encoder on their backgauge servo motors require a laser calibration  in order to ensure the machines cuts to tolerance.  

  When it comes to parts, it is important to have someone to identify only what is needed to keep cost of repairs to a minimal. If your machine has components that are hard to find such as:
